MT500 WATERPROOF JACKET
I bought this jacket a couple of years ago so not sure if it's the second edition or not. It has lots of zip flaps but I think this is an admission that the coat can't do what it's meant to do. Good jacket for exercise not above 100 beats per minute. Saying all this I done a test with steam, with the jacket placed over a heated kettle, illuminated from behind with torch, the steam was visible coming through the fabric. So, it does work and is breathable BUT like any Goretex it can't handle the amount of vapour needed to keep you dry during a ride. The fabric does wet out quite easily too even when fairly new :/ I think if you go out in the rain, someone sweaty, like me, will get wet. I've even got wet in dry weather in this jacket as I sweat too much :( Softshell every time

MT500 waterproof 11 Jacket
I purchased this jacket to replace my Endura Stealth Jacket that has been brilliant. I am disappointed with the new MT500 jacket it sweats more than the stealth which make you cold very quickly if you stop riding for a break. I have now purchase an MT500 freezing point for cold days.

Great waterproof, but when hood not used too big and bulky. Could really do with being able to roll up, unless there is a way i am missing
