VERY POOR
1 out of 5 stars
My wife bought this top for me a couple of years ago for Christmas. After trying it on and being very pleased with the fit it went into the wardrobe. I wore it a few times but the zip keeps catching in the windflap. Very poor design. If the zip catches halfway up then its not a problem to free it but yesterday it caught up round the neck. No matter how hard I tried it could not be freed. I even asked a passer by for help but no joy. In the end I had to force the zip and the zip broke. £125 down the drain. I contacted Endura but they have been very disinterested. My wife no longer has the receipt and she cannot remember where she bought it from but it wasn't direct from Endura. Edura have sent me a link to a repair service so I will try this.

Endura Pro SL Primaloft Gilet ll . This is something that you should have in your wardrobe for winter time. I went for an XL I have two other layers underneath and still able to move. This has kept me snug and warm throughout the winter . Ideal temperature up to 8° .The last two seasons I’ve even worn underneath a thermal windproof jacket. There’s only one thing to be a werewolf you have to get used to the zip but once you’ve mastered this you love this Gilet.
Endura Pro SL Thermal Windproof Jacket II. This might have been my best purchase this winter time . I went for the XL , there is a little bit of a stretch underneath your thermal vest and Marino Jersey there is more enough room for even a Gilet . There is a windproof front but less on the arms so if you do feel cold I would recommend arm warmers. The jacket can’t handle showers quite easily. The pockets are deep at the rear that’s a big plus if you do carry kit with you.

This is a great bit of kit
I have a lovely hardshell for the winter months but get too hot with a mid layer. I already have a gilet but my hardshell doesn't have it's own pockets but rather holes to access pockets in wherever jersey you've got on - my other jersey doesn't have rear pockets and I thought this gilet would fit the bill.
It certainly does. It is close fitting bury the pockets are good for pump / phone etc.
The fill is warm on the bike and the colour is bright enough to be suitable for an outer layer of the temps rise.
I was out today - started at -3C and finished up at 4C and I was plenty warm with my BaaBaa base layer, this gilet and my hardshell (a Swiss thing).
I'm 188cm with a 96cm chest and a medium is a good fit.
