Tried for first time in very cold weather. Feet nice and warm. My shoe size is uk 9. The size guide recommends size L couldn't get them to go over my shoes. Returned and got XL. Fit ok. so may need to go up a size

I bought these for winter road biking in Scotland. They are both warm and mostly dry. I say mostly because in sustained rain with road surface water they eventually let in water. However, they fit over road shoes well and have a good degree of insulation. Check that they don't rub on your cranks, I didn't and as the outer fabric is not hardwearing I wore a hole in them very quickly; my fault really!
